Blog: Pastor’s Post

Craig has had over 25 years of pastoral experience in both Canada and the United States.

He has a passion for sharing his love of Christ and his message of hope and grace. His vision for the church is to be a place and people filled with courageous love, radically devoted to Christ, eager to share our faith and live honestly with each other.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this gathering of people who invite and include all ages and cultures; who find strength in prayer, and offer encouragement to those seeking meaning in life. Markham Baptist Church is a place where creativity, authentic joy and surprise are always welcome, and where God’s love is experienced!”

Madison moved to Toronto a year ago from PEI. She is currently working on her MDiv in Pastoral Counseling at Tyndale University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Crandall University in Moncton New Brunswick.

Madison has a passion for outreach ministry, and has volunteered with many different organizations such as Teen Challenge and volunteering with prison ministry. She has a heart to work with and reach out to as many different people as possible, and is excited to be the hands and feet that God has called her to be.

Youth is a passion for Madison as well. She worked at First Baptist in Moncton for three years as an intern and ran a Christian fellowship group at one of the local high schools. Youth are not only the next generation of the church; they are the generation of the church now. She wants to equip and form youth into the leaders of tomorrow and have them build a strong foundation in Christ.
